Here’s a really good minute physics video on fire which I hope you find as interesting as we did! Don’t forget to get your wood fire really hot you should order kiln dried firewood which has a higher calorific output than seasoned logs which can hold more moisture.
Who’s The Firestarter?
Mr White is cooking with wood tonight! Bring it on Brown, White, lmfao
This is the smaller bag of logs which we supplied to customers prior to March this year.
The main differences between this net and the net we supplied now are:
- Logs are kiln dried instead of just seasoned
- Standard log length increased from 8″ to 11″
- Net size has increased to 40 litre net
- Net weight has increased from average 10kg to 15kg
Because kiln-dried logs have the majority of the moisture sucked out of them they can be dense but they’re not as heavy as seasoned logs.
Has everyone felt a really heavy moisture soaked log? Not nice is it…
Here’s the whole gang on the move delivering firewood to your door across Scotland. Fortunately they look better in real life!
Thanks to Deval for doing this great animation for us.
Whether’tis nobler in the home to suffer the endless journeys from woodshed to fire and outrageous fortune spent on softwood or by burning hardwood end them.
